Grade Name C W Co Mo Ni Recommendations, Notes
"20W20" Two-by-Two 2,2% 1,5-1,65% 0.3-0.5% - - All types of Wootz patterns. Good for items up to 40-45 cm long: knives, daggers, stilettos.
"15W15" one and a half 1.5-1.65% 1-1,25% 0.2-0.3% - - Universal as for patterns, and for items as well.
"A" "" 2% - - + - Geniculated pattern only. For short items.
"11" Kopeck 1.1% 0.7-0.8% 0.2% + + Good for long-length items sabers, swords, medieval swords. Streamy, wavy, geniculated.
"7" Seven 1.65% ~1.5% + 2% - All patterns. Universal.
"5" Fiver 1.65% ~1.5% ~0.5% - 2% Under study. Long-length items.
"B" Reticulated-Reticulate 1% - - + - Under study. Genicurlated, reticulated.
